For Shawn McVeigh wanted for Christmas was a pair of gloves, the kind worn by the famous reception hall Jerry Rice.
McVeigh, 31-year-old coach Rames, pointed out on Monday that the desire of childhood and how it was granted, if not exactly with the same quality material NFL players enjoy.
Now years later, Rams will travel to Nashville on Sunday for the Christmas game against Tennessee Titans.
If Rames wins, he will fly home that night as West NFC champions.
"I think you know what a good Christmas present would be for everyone, if we can get out of the win," McVeigh said. "This will be something special for this team and for many players."
